THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DES MOINES HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
NORTHEASTERN BLACK HAWK COUNTY IN NORTHEAST IOWA

* UNTIL 845 PM CDT

* AT 813 PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A TORNADO IN THE VICINITY OF DUNKERTON...OR ABOUT 10 MILES NORTHEAST OF WATERLOO...MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.

* SOME LOCATIONS THREATENED THROUGH 845 PM CDT...
THE DUNKERTON AREA.

THIS WARNING DOES NOT INCLUDE WATERLOO OR CEDAR FALLS. THE STORMS SHOULD BE NORTHEAST OF THE WATERLOO AREA.

THIS WARNING REPLACES THE PREVIOUS WARNING.

THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR OTHER PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
